The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was inspired, just like its predecessor, by the lines of the very popular Samsung Galaxy Note model a few years ago. It offers very straight lines, even a bit austere, which give it a very modest and elegant look. However, flat edges can, as was the case with the iPhone, cause handling problems after a few tens of minutes.
According to photos available today, which illustrate a mockup created from CAD files sent to factories for production, Samsung is on the verge of solving the problem with its S25 Ultra. The premium smartphone would benefit from more rounded edges, both in the corners and around the edge of the case, but not as much as the entry-level S25 models to set it apart from the rest of the range. It should therefore be more pleasant to hold once in the palm of your hand. It could be a bit thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ should not benefit from the design change. The Korean manufacturer would obviously be satisfied with the Galaxy S24, and the next smartphones should not develop even an inch this year.
