Technical problems quickly multiplied. Users began reporting disturbing glitches: keys that repeated themselves for no reason, letters that mysteriously disappeared, and keys that stuck after a few months of use. This technical nightmare highlighted the limits of an overly ambitious design.
Apple has launched a patch program for butterfly keyboards in France. According to official Apple Support information, the program applies to the same MacBook models as in the rest of the world. The warranty extension period (4 years only for keyboards) has theoretically expired for most of the affected devices, i.e. the end of the program.
