iPhone 17: not really the thinnest, but maybe the most expensive

The iPhone 17 Air could be just 6mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone ever. This title was previously held by the iPhone 6, released 10 years ago in September 2014, which offered a thickness of 6.9mm. Since then, iPhone cases have continued to grow in size to accommodate ever-larger photo sensors, but also larger batteries to meet the needs of users.

If the iPhone 17 Air promises a small revolution in this line, like the iPad Pro M4 and its 5.1 mm, which clearly improves its handling, Apple’s next smartphone will not be the best ever released. These are vivo, three or four sensors.

The iPhone 17 Air should have a 6.6-inch display, slightly smaller than the iPhoneiPhone 16 Plus available today. Apple would also abandon the Plus models next year, but not the Pro Max model, which would remain in the catalog with an almost 7-inch screen.
