After launching in China, the Redmi Note 14 is getting ready to land in new markets, including Europe. We expect the models to be 5G only for the first time, with new chips, AI and new photo features.

Xiaomi has announced the launch date of its Redmi Note 14 series for international markets, including France. Three new models (Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+) will be officially launched on December 9, 2024a few months after their release in China. The smartphones are expected to be available shortly after the announcement.

For this generation, Xiaomi could simplify its range, one of the most popular manufacturers value for money. The Redmi Note 13 came in five different models, including 4G or 5G compatibility. This year, we could only have three models, all with support for 5G connectivity. Enough to clarify an offer that could confuse consumers.

What is the price for the Redmi Note 14?

Xiaomi mentions the arrival of advanced AI features and camera improvements to entice its next devices. It also benefits from a new design with a redesigned photo block and thin bezels around the screen. We can also hope for materials that are a little more noble than plastic for the frame of mobiles, at least for the Pro models.

If Xiaomi integrates the same chips on the European versions as on the Chinese versions, which is likely, we will have:

The chips in the Pro models won’t necessarily be much more powerful, but they should offer much better energy efficiency, leading to better autonomy and more controlled heating.

Of course, the interest in these smartphones will be closely related to their price. Redmi Note are known for being good phones with a large battery at an affordable price, which makes them very popular for users who are not necessarily looking for a high-end smartphone.
