And the good news is that Google might offer a very similar feature on its Android operating system. Nothing is official at the moment. However, when our colleagues at the Android office looked into the Google Play beta code, they discovered character strings representing a feature that “visual cues to alleviate motion sickness.” And if the clues discovered by Android Authority don’t provide more details, all indications are that this upcoming Android update should work exactly like the features already available on the iPhone. Otherwise, as the website notes, third-party applications also offer this functionality on Android. But it is always better to use a service directly integrated into the OS.
Future accessibility features for Android?
It remains to be seen when Google plans to launch this feature. We remind you that the company is shaking up the Android ecosystem by changing the way the operating system is updated. Instead of releasing one new version of Android a year, Google will offer two. In 2025, a new version will first be released in the second quarter, followed by another version (with minor changes) released in the fourth quarter.
